ET-VOAD assists volunteer organizations become more effective in their service in disaster relief and recovery.

ET-VOAD meets quarterly.
Additional meetings may be called for exercises, training, or to coordinate a disaster response.

Our next meeting:

We are scheduled to meet at the Cokesbury UMC, room 400, 9919 Kingston Pike, Knoxville.
We were asked by Colin Ickes, Dir Knoxville and Knox County E M A to develop an ESF 14 Program (Long Range Planning) for the city and county.
Chris Hall and Joe Martin and I have been meeting to review a proposed document and meeting with E TN VOAD member agencies to formulate our approach to the request.
It is imperative that all member agencies be present for this meeting to discuss our response to taking on this task.
We have decided to address three natural disaster type events; snow fall, flooding, and tornado/wind sheer.
As this is a multi-agency event(s) your commitments/comments are essential. And for this reason we do not have a document to distribute at this point in our planning
